Amanda Norton
President & Founder

Amanda is a native New Yorker who later grew up in the picturesque town of Marblehead, Massachusetts.  After completing her degree at Lafayette College in Easton, PA, she embarked on a career in advertising sales at the Wall Street Journal. Eventually, Amanda found her true calling in event planning with the Washington Speakers Bureau.

Amanda is deeply committed to giving back to her community. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the pressing issue of food insecurity, inspiring her to establish the Great American Community Kitchen. As Founder and President, Amanda is passionate about Paying It Forward. She works to ensure that families in need have access to nutritious meals and only asks that they Pay Forward through a small act of kindness to someone in their community in return. In her personal life, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her husband Jon and their two children, Kyla and Wyatt, who provide her with constant support and motivation to continue her philanthropic endeavors.
